Warner Bros. announced several movie date moves today, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Warner Bros. has moved up the release date of the solo Wonder Woman film from June 23, 2017 to June 2, 2017, where it will no longer be facing the competition of opening against Transformers 5 (see “Best in Shows--Q2 2017”).
The company also posted dates for two unnamed DC films, for October 5, 2018 and November 1, 2019. With expectations high, one of those films will likely be Suicide Squad 2 (see “'Suicide Squad' Sent Up for Reshoots”).
This means the current DC movie slate is:
- Suicide Squad (August 5, 2016)
- The Justice League - Part One (Nov. 17, 2017)
- The Flash (March 16, 2018)
- Aquaman (July 27, 2018)
- Untitled DC Film (October 5, 2018)
- Shazam! (April 5, 2019)
- Justice League - Part Two (June 14, 2019)
- Untitled DC Film (November 1, 2019)
- Cyborg (April 3, 2020)
- Green Lantern Corps (June 19, 2020).
