The superhero love story has been given a straight-to-series order, following the adventures of teenagers Tandy Bowen (Dagger) and Tyrone Johnson (Cloak) as they grapple with both new superpowers and attraction to each other.

Marvel Studios and ABC Signature Studios will co-produce the series which is targeted at a young-adult audience. No writer is currently attached to the series.

Disney-owned ABC has had great success with Marvel TV fare, including Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter, and has another in the pipe (see “ABC Mockingbird Series Is Back”).
