Signs of Carcosa introduces the “King in Yellow”, Hastur, as a new Ancient One for the players to confront in the game. This subtle villain from Aldebaran uses madness and insanity to sow dissension in the world in preparation for its inevitable arrival. To confront Hastur’s evil, the expansion also includes four new investigators: Dexter Drake, Jenny Barnes, Michael McGlen, and Wendy Adams. New Encounter cards for every continent, spells, assets, artifacts, and Mythos cards round out the expansion. Signs of Carcosa will be the fifth Eldritch Horror expansion, following 2015’s Under the Pyramids (see “‘Eldritch Horror’ Heads to Egypt”).To 'Eldritch Horror'
