Paramount Pictures has released a new action-packed trailer for Star Trek Beyond.
Over the weekend, Paramount dropped the new trailer, during the Star Trek Fan Event. While it doesn’t fill in much as far as motivations and plot, there is plenty of new footage, and some dialog from Idris Elba’s villainous Krall and Sofia Boutella’s Jaylah.
Paramount announced that it will host the world premiere of the movie at San Diego Comic-Con in the first-ever open-air IMAX. There will be appearance by director Justin Lin and cast as well as a live concert performance of the film score by the San Diego Symphony Orchestra.
The movie releases in theaters on July 22. The first trailer can be seen here: "First 'Star Trek Beyond' Trailer."
