Warlord Games has announced plans to release the Bolt Action:  World War II Wargaming Rules—2nd Edition later this year.  The new rulebook is scheduled to release in September, followed by the Armies of Germany book in November.

The new rulebook will be a 216-page hardcover book featuring updated rules that have been streamlined for faster play.  All of the FAQ and errata to date are also included.  The new rules will be backwards compatible with all current supplements.  The rulebook was written by Alessio Cavatore and Rick Priestley, with illustrations by Peter Dennis.  MSRP is $40.00.

The Bolt Action:  Armies of Germany book is an expanded version of the original, with rules for German armies from any part of the war.  This 96-page softcover book also features illustrations by Dennis.  MSRP is $30.00.
