Alderac Entertainment Group will release the dice game Yeti and the stand-alone deck-building game Valley of the Kings: Last Rites in September.

Yeti is a strategic dice game where players take the role of explorers in the Himalayas attempting to find footprints or other proof of the mythical mountain beast. Players climb the 3D mountain as they search for footprints of the Yeti. If fortune smiles on them, they can buy better equipment and even hire Sherpas which know their way around. Staying on the mountain and climbing higher or venturing into lesser-known areas increases a chance of a discovery, but everyone is competing for the same goal, and only the first to find proof of the beast will become famous.

The box contains 1 mountain, 1 photo track, 5 peak tiles, 7 equipment tiles, 1 starting player tile, 6 weather tiles, 7 dice, 1 Yeti, 5 base camps, 5 mountaineers, 5 victory point markers, 5 reference sheets, 1 game board, and 1 rulebook. The game is for 2 – 5 players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 30 minutes. MSRP is $29.99.

Valley of the Kings: Last Rites is a stand-alone deck-building game which can be mixed with the previous Valley of the Kings releases for different game play (see “Alderac Returns to 'Valley of the Kings'” and “'Valley of the Kings' Deck-Building Game”). The cards in this game can each be used in three ways so players must be careful when deciding to use the cards for their cash value, the action ability, or entomb it for victory points. The goal is to get the most valuable cards stashed away for victory points by the end of the game.

The box contains 96 artifact cards, 4 tomb cards, 4 reference cards and a rulebook. The game is for 2 – 4 players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 45 minutes. The deck can be combined with other releases to accommodate games of up to 6 players.  MSRP is $19.99.

A new edition of the popular Smash Up card game: Smash Up: Cease and Desist will also release in September (see “'Smash Up: Cease and Desist,' 'Fantahzee,' More”).
