In October, Iello will release an expansion set for its popular giant fighting monster game King of New York that will also be compatible with the earlier King of Tokyo game: Power Up!
King of New York: Power Up! includes cards for using Captain Fish and the other monsters in both New York and Tokyo games, with unique evolution cards for each monster in the different cities. In addition, Power Up! introduces a new monster: the electrically-charged Sharky, and new Power cards that monsters can acquire by rolling three Hearts. Power Up! was created by renowned designer Richard Garfield, and features the artwork of Regis Torres.
Power Up! is compatible with both King of New York and King of Tokyo. The expansion includes 112 Evolution cards, 1 Sharky standee and board, and game tokens. MSRP is $19.99.
Iello will release a new edition of King of Tokyo, with new artwork, on July 14 (see "Iello Reveals New Look for 'King of Tokyo'").
