Marvel has been teasing its upcoming Marvel NOW! launch with a group of shattered character pairings and a collage (see “Nine Marvel NOW! Teasers”). Now it has released the final image, via FastCompany, showing the final teams for the post-Civil War II status quo.

"This is not an event. It's the status quo of the Marvel Universe in the aftermath of the war," Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso said. "It's a glimpse as to whom we can point to in the coming year, with just enough 'What the heck's going on there' spots to get people speculating. 'There's no Tony Stark in that picture, but who's that guy holding the helmet? Is that Doctor Doom?' 'The young girl in the gray armor looks a lot like the new War Machine . . .'"

Alonso refused to offer answers on who the unknown characters were, or elaborate on which of the characters would be getting their own series.

The left side includes a lot of morally questionable characters amongst the heroes: Solo, Foolkiller, Jessica Jones, Quake, Captain Marvel, Elektra, Thor, Slapstick, Captain America (Steve Rodgers), Black Panther, Gamora, Cable, and the giant foot of what might be Fin Fang Foom or American Kaiju.

The right side includes Gwenpool, Mosaic, Miss America Chavez, Squirrel Girl, the All-New Wasp, Prowler, Moon Girl, Hawkeye (Kate Bishop), the Hulk, Spider-Man (Miles Morales), Ms. Marvel, Riri Williams from Invincible Iron Man and Doctor Strange.
