Gamewright has announced Imagine, a new word-guessing party game, releasing on August 1.

Imagine uses a set of 61 transparent playing cards that feature different icons and symbols.  The see-through cards can be stacked so the different symbols can overlap or interact in a variety of ways to present clues without speaking.  As one player uses the cards to create clues, the other players attempt to guess the correct word.

Imagine was originally published in Japan, and a French version was also produced by Gamewright’s publishing partner, Cocktail Games.

In addition to the 61 transparent clue cards, the game includes 65 enigma cards and 35 scoring tokens.  It is intended for 3 to 8 players, ages 12 and up, and plays in about 20 minutes.  MSRP is $14.99.

Imagine expands Gamewright’s already broad 2016 release schedule (see “‘Sushi Go Party,’ ‘Bring Your Own Book,’ More”).
