Dark Horse Comics and Blizzard Entertainment have announced a new volume in the World of Warcraft book series it launched last year (see “'World of Warcraft: Chronicle'”).

World of Warcraft Chronicle: Volume II will delve deeper into the history and mythology of the Warcraft game universe. The book will feature artwork from artists including Peter Lee, Joseph Lacroix, and Alex Horley. The book will release on March 14, 2017.

The popular multiplayer online role-playing game has spawned comic books, novels, and tabletop games, as well as a recent big-screen adaptation that bombed at the box office (see “'Dory' Finds Box Office Gold In Record Debut”). The next major expansion for the MMORPG, World of Warcraft: Legion, is due out on August 30.
