Portal Games announced two games premiering at Essen Spiel in October: Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island and Death Breath, a new army for Neuroshima Hex 3.0. Trade release will follow in November.

Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island was originally released in the U.S. by Z-Man Games (see “'Robinson Crusoe: Adventure on the Cursed Island'”). The new edition of Ignacy Trzewiczek’s cooperative survival game will feature custom wooden pieces, thick cardboard character cards, over 450 edits to the cards to improve clarity, a 7th scenario and an all new English rulebook. The new game box will be a standard square size and the cover will feature a new illustration by Vincent Durait. MSRP is $65.00.

Death Breath is a new army for Neuroshima Hex 3.0. Designed by game creator Michal Oracz, Death Breath unleashes a terrible virus which begins spreading from the enclaves of the Moloch. It changes those infected into brainless, bloodthirsty beasts which spread the virus wherever they attack. The expansion overs a new experience for players as units become upgradeable with a special token pool which allows customization. It also includes a large number of netting units and battle tiles.
