IDW Publishing, with support from DC Entertainment, will release Love is Love, an anthology graphic novel honoring the victims of Orlando’s Pulse Nightclub tragedy.
The collection is curated by Marc Andreyko (Batwoman, Wonder Woman ’77), who assembled a group of fellow comic book creators to contribute to the project. Over 200 writers and artists responded, and their work is represented in the over 100 short graphic stories in the anthology. Contributors include: Phil Jimenez, Steve Sadowski, Paul Jenkins, Mike Carey, Matt Wagner, Marguerite Bennett, Aneke, Damon Lindelof, Patton Oswalt, Steven Orlando, Rafael Albuquerque, Jason Aaron, Jason Latour, James Asmus, Ming Doyle, James Tynion IV, Cecil Castellucci, Brandon Peterson, Jesus Saiz, Olivier Coipel, Leinil Yu, and Elsa Charretier among others.
The 144-page graphic novel is a love letter to the LGBTQ community. Release is planned for December 21. MSRP is $9.99. All proceeds will go to victims, survivors, and their families via Equality Florida.
