Next April, just a few weeks before the May 5 opening of the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 movie,  WizKids will release a new set of Marvel HeroClix figures featuring the characters from the film.

The Marvel HeroClix: Guardians of the Galaxy V2 Gravity Feed display will include 24 single-figure packs with a total of 12 different characters from the movie.  There will be two different versions of the display, one intended for mass market retailers and the other exclusively for hobby retailers.  Eight of the figures will be in common between the two versions, but each type of display have its own set of 4 exclusive rare figures, making a total of 16 different figures in the entire set.

The packs are MSRP $2.99 each.

The second installment in the Guardians of the Galaxy series will feature a number of new stars in addition to the cast of the original film (see "'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' Starts Shooting").
