Dynamite Entertainment has released a plethora of announcements ahead of New York Comic Con, and we round them up here.

Benjamin Percy (Rebirth: Green Arrow, Teen Titans) will be writing the new ongoing James Bond series in 2017. Dynamite launched the James Bond series in November 2015, penned by Warren Ellis (see “Warren Ellis Penning 'James Bond' Comic”). "Ben's got what it takes to follow in Warren's massive footsteps, and we think fans are going to love what he has planned," said Dynamite Editorial Director, Joseph Rybandt. "By creating a new series for Ben, we're also opening up the door for anyone that hasn't yet checked out our Bond comics."

The James Bond: Hammerhead miniseries launches in November (see “James Bond: Hammerhead'”).

Bettie Page has had an influence on The Rocketeer, Watchmen, in the artwork of Joe Shuster, and on Batman villainess Poison Ivy in the DC Bombshells line. Now the Queen of Pinups will grace the pages of comics for the first time in 20 years. Dynamite did not share details on their upcoming Bettie Page publishing program other than to say it will make announcements about the program, as well as additional licensed merchandise categories, in the coming months.

Comics and television writer Paul Cornell (Saucer Country, Doctor Who novels) will write an all-new series starring Vampirella. “I'm delighted to be writing a Vampirella that takes onboard everything she's been and moves it forward into a new setting, where the gothic meets science fiction," said Paul Cornell. "I'm also delighted to be working again with my old friends, the incredibly talented artist Jimmy Broxton, and the incredibly talented editor, Matt Idelson.” The series will launch in February 2017 with a special $0.25 issue.
