DC Entertainment, Saban Brands, and BOOM! Studios are collaborating on Justice League / Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, a six issue comic miniseries launching in January, the companies announced today.  The series will be written by Tom Taylor with art by Stephen Byrne.  The first issue will carry variant covers pairing members of the two teams:

 

• Batman/Pink Ranger by Dan Hipp
• Cyborg/Blue Ranger by Dustin Nguyen
• The Flash/Black Ranger by Yasmine Putri
• Green Lantern John Stewart/Yellow Ranger by Marguerite Sauvage
• Superman/Green Ranger by Chris Sprouse
• Wonder Woman/Red Ranger by Marcus To

The teams are brought together through a breach at Power Rangers’ Command Center, which leads to damaged teleporters and the Black Ranger being sent to an alternate, DC, universe as the other Rangers seek to save him from Batman.
