Marvel has lit the fuse on the six-issue Inhumans Vs. X-Men miniseries, and they’re set to watch the fireworks with the December 14 debut of #1 at launch parties around the country.

Written by Charles Soule and Jeff Lemire and drawn by Leinil Yu, Inhumans Vs. X-Men has the titular superteams facing off over the fate of mutantkind as Earth’s atmosphere is saturated with Terrigen Mists, killing mutants and birthing new Inhumans (see "'Inhumans Vs. X-Men'").  The series follows Soule and Lemire’s Death of X and precedes the upcoming ResurrXion event (see "Marvel Teases 'ResurrXion'").

Retailers have until October 24 to register for the Inhumans Vs. X-Men party kit, which includes invitation postcards, exclusive first looks and previews, an IVX calendar, IVX lithographs by Yu, a Chip Zdarsky party variant, and downloadable cake toppers.  Participating retailers are also eligible for ordering discounts and can order additional copies of the Zdarsky variant.
