The new configuration for Geek & Sundry’s TableTop starts today, with the release of the first episode of Season 4, in which host Wil Wheaton plays Renegade’s Lanterns with Game the Game’s Ivan and Becca and their Twitch overlord Zac, on the Geek & Sundry site, YouTube, and Alpha.  The Lanterns episode is one of two that will appear free before the rest of Season 4 goes behind a pay wall (see “‘Tabletop’ Goes to Windowed Release”) for several months.  The new configuration for release is part of a plan by Legendary Digital Networks, which was formed after the acquisition of Geek & Sundry by Legendary. 

The full list of games to be played on Season 4 was announced last spring (see “’Tabletop’ Season 4 Games Announced”); now retailers will have to see how the split free window (two episodes now and the rest later), with pay distribution between, affects the TableTop Bump in sales.
