Greenbrier Games will release the Into the Wasteland expansion with Zpocalypse 2: Defend the ‘Burbs in March.

The stand-alone follow-up to the popular Zpocalypse board game, Zpocalypse 2: Defend the ‘Burbs was announced this summer (see “The Plague Has Spread in 'Zpocalypse: Defend the Burbs'”). Now Greenbrier has shared information on Zpocalypse 2: Into the Wasteland expansion which will release at the same time.

Defend the ‘Burbs is set in the suburbs, far from punishing city life. Like the original, players function as a squad leader, directing their team of survivors in daily survival actions, combining elements of a tower defense game with tactical combat. The game is for 2 – 5 players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 2 hours. MSRP is $59.95.

Zpocalypse 2: Into the Wasteland is a four part campaign adventure that takes survivors out of suburbia and onto the highway. They will run into mutants, bandits, and mad scientists, but they will gain access to new survivors, weapons, locations, craftables and terrain. The game features modular tiles, so each pay-through is unique. As an expansion, it requires the base game to play.

The game is for 2 – 5 players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 2 hours.  MSRP is $24.95.

Greenbrier recently released the card game Burger Up (see “Fire Up The Grill For 'Burger Up'”).
