Lion Rampant Imports will release two family games in December: Clearing Coffins and Nitro Glyxerol.

German publisher Drei Magier Spiele’s Clearing Coffins is a mix of dice rolling and memory mechanics. Players are trying to clear the old castle of coffins, but they can only move a coffin when the conditions are just right. A player rolls the special dice – one has colors, the other symbols. If a player has a coffin that matches the symbol and color, they want to be the first to slap the garlic card in the middle of the table. Then they can turn the coffin over. If they slap the garlic card first when the corresponding card is face-down, they can remove it from the game and draw another coffin. When an exclamation mark shows up on the color die, everyone’s actions are determined by what symbol is rolled. The first to clear four coffins wins.

The game is for 2 – 6 players, ages 8 and up, and plays in 15 minutes. MSRP is $12.99.

German publisher Zoch Verlag’s Nitro Glyxerol is a mad science game where players race to make the perfect Glyxx formula. Players shake their Myxxers (plastic beaker playing pieces) to mix the ingredients (cubes) into the spout in the right order to match the required formula. Players may decide to stop at smaller ingredient chains to pick up victory point cards before their opponents can complete the longer chain.

The game is for 2 – 4 players, ages 7 and up, and plays in 20 minutes. MSRP is $39.95.
