Lion Rampant has announced a deal with Crazy Dice GmbH to bring their drinking board game Drinkopoly to distribution in the U.S. and Canada.

The adult-oriented game is played on a monopoly-style board with 44 spaces, each requiring players to perform certain activities, like tongue-twisters, arm wrestling, truth-or-dare, or even kissing contests.

The first player to reach the end of the journey wins the game, but the true point of the activity is, as the name suggests, the drinks.  Players must either complete the tasks or take a sip of their drink in order to keep moving around the board.

Due to the game’s focus on alcohol, it is suitable only for adults of drinking age (21 and up).  Up to six players can play Drinkopoly at a time.  MSRP is $34.99.

Crazy Dice first released Drinkopoly in Croatia in 2010, and the game has been available as an import online.  The deal with Lion Rampant will allow the game to enter general distribution.

Lion Rampant recently announced North American distribution deals for two games from German publishers, Clearing Coffins and Nitro Glyxerol (see “‘Clearing Coffins’ and ‘Nitro Glyxerol’”).
