FUNimation Films has announced a limited theatrical re-release of Mamoru Oshii’s original Ghost in Shell animated film for February.
The film will show in two versions in 110 theaters across the United States. On February 7, fans can take in the original Japanese-language version with English subtitles. On February 8, theaters will show the English dub. Tickets are on sale via the FUNimation website.
FUNimation also announced a new Blu-ray DVD with Steelbook packaging and a digital HD version, which will be released by Lionsgate on March 7. The release comes in advance of the March 31 debut of the live-action Ghost in the Shell film starring Scarlett Johannson (see "Scarjo Intros First Full 'Ghost in the Shell' Trailer.")
