This summer, Paizo will begin the next of its long-running series of linked Pathfinder adventure modules with the Ruins of Azlant Adventure Path, releasing in August.

Opening with the discovery of an abandoned colony, The Lost Outpost is the first adventure in the six-part Ruins of Azlant campaign.  In this adventure, the players must try to uncover what tragedy befell the colony.

Over the course of the Ruins of Azlant campaign, players will explore the lost continent of the Azlant empire, shattered long ago by a barrage of meteors sent by humanity’s most powerful enemies.  But the ruins of the old empire hide a powerful, ancient enemy, recently freed from its prison after thousands of years, which seeks vengeance against all humankind.

The Lost Outpost is designed for 1st-level characters using the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game.  The full-color softcover module includes the adventure scenario, stats for new monsters, and information about the environment on the shattered continent.  The Lost Outpost was written by Jim Groves, who has contributed to numerous Pathfinder sourcebooks and earlier Adventure Paths.  MSRP is $24.99.

August will also see the launch of Paizo’s new science-fiction roleplaying game, Starfinder (see “Paizo Aims for the Stars at Gen Con”).
