Dynamite Entertainment announced that it will publish a new comic series featuring the Adolescent Radioactive Black Belt Hamsters. The original series, created by Don Chin, started out in the 80s as a parody of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but became a popular series in its own right, selling more than 500,000 copies.
Dynamite hopes to ride the wave of renewed interest in other retro 80s properties like the Turtles and the Transformers, and wants to introduce a new generation to Chuck, Bruce, Jackie and Clint. More information on the creative team will be announced soon.
