According to Variety, Warner Bros. has announced a March 6, 2009 opening for Zack Snyder's Watchmen movie, which will start shooting this fall.  Dreamworks and Paramount will release the fourth Shrek film May 21, 2010 and has plans on the table for a fifth Shrek as well.   

 

Warner Bros. also recently confirmed that the last Harry Potter film, The Deathly Hallows, will open sometime in the spring of 2010 when it will compete no doubt with Shrek 4. (November 21, 2008 is the release date for the adaptation of book 6--The Half-Blood Prince.)
