Paramount is in negotiations with Russian-born actor Anton Yelchin to play Pavel Checkov in the upcoming 11th Star Trek flick, directed by J.J. Abrams.  So far the cast includes Zachary Quinto and Leonard Nimoy (both as Mr. Spock, see 'Spock Returns!'). No names have been announced as yet for Kirk, Bones, Uhura, Sulu, Scotty or the requisite villain.
