Paul Levitz, DC Comics President and Publisher, has announced that David Hyde has been promoted to Vice President of Publicity, DC Comics.  Hyde, who joined DC in 2003 as Director of Publicity, will continue to report directly to John Cunningham, VP of Marketing.

Before joining DC Hyde held several positions at Random House, working his way up to Senior Publicist at Vintage Books before becoming Assistant Director of Publicity for Anchor Books.
