Pokemon USA has kicked off its 2007-2008 organized play season, which will climax next August with the Pokemon TCG World Championship.  Pokemon plans four pre-release events (see 'Secret Wonders Pre-Release Events') over the course of the year.

Pokemon's tournament structure starts with City Championships beginning November 23rd, with State/Province Championships in March, Regional Championships in April, Battle Road Tournaments, and National Championships in Q2, leading up to the World Championship event.
