Archaia Studios comic title Starkweather has been optioned by Benderspink, which has a long list of comic properties in development, including Y: The Last Man, Preacher, and Power & Glory.
The first issue of Starkweather: Immortal, #0, was released by Archaia in August. That issue was based on an original Starkweather story by Piers Anthony. The Starkweather Immortal miniseries #1 - #4 will feature stories by Dave Rodriguez and art by Patrick McEvoy.
Arcana Studio published a previous five-issue miniseries, which was also collected into a trade paperback. That series was also written by Rodriguez, with art by John Bosco.
Rodriguez is also a videogame designer whose most notable work was on Hunter: The Reckoning, which adapted White Wolf's World of Darkness to a videogame world.
