Media Blasters has acquired the U.S. rights to release the Lone Wolf and Cub live action TV series from the 70s.  According to a Media Blasters spokesperson, the company expects to release the series in Q3 of 2008. 

The series, which ran 79 episodes, is based on the manga, published in the U.S. by Dark Horse.

Animeigo has the U.S. rights to the six Lone Wolf and Cub live action features, which it has released here on DVD.
