Tokyopop announced the acquisition of two manga series associated with popular anime properties at the New York Anime Festival.  Tokyopop plans to release the first book in the four-volume (and still going) Kyo Kara Maoh! shojo manga series during the third quarter of 2008.  Like the popular Kyo Kara Maoh! anime series, which Geneon was releasing in the U.S., the Kyo Kara Maoh! manga is based on the13-volume series of light novels written by Tomo Takabayashi and illustrated by Temari Matsumoto, the same team that is writing and drawing the manga.

During the third quarter Tokyopop is also planning to release the seinen Fate/stay night manga, which is based on the Fate/stay night visual novel/game, rather than on the popular Fate/stay night anime that Geneon was releasing here in North America.  Manga-ka Nishiwaki Datto has drawn all five volumes of the Fate/stay night manga, which is still ongoing in Japan.  So far the manga has been focused solely on the 'Unlimited Blade Works' scenario of the game.
