Calum Johnston of Strange Adventures Comic Book Shop in Halifax, Nova Scotia saw the coverage of The Dark Knight's continued strong presence in the theaters (see “'Dark Knight' Bakes the 'Pineapple Express'”) and appreciates that ICv2 included the attendance number rather than just box office:

“...an astounding total that works out to about 62 million admissions at today’s prices...”

Thanks for mentioning the admissions.  This is a much more valid statement than box office.  Ticket sales comparison would mean actual "bums in seats" and that's the name of the game.

It’s a more substantial comment as well.  Imagine 62 million people enjoying Batman--now if we could only translate that into book sales!
