Italian game company Nexus Games is previewing its new games at Spiel 2008 in Essen including Moto Grand Prix, an easy, fast and fun motorcycle racing game with detailed reproductions of six famous motorcycles, a modular board with 72 racetrack tiles allowing players to build many different circuits, and a fast-paced dice system that permits games to be played in 60 minutes.   Fantasy Flight Games, which releases most of Nexus Games products here, is planning to release Moto Grand Prix in North America in December.

Nexus is also planning to preview Wings of War Miniatures Series III with 12 new fully painted and assembled miniatures--four new planes each of which is available in three different painting schemes.  Fantasy Flight plans to release the Wings of War Miniatures Series III in November.

Also set for unveiling at Essen is the Age of Conan: The Strategy Board Game, which was originally slated for a release in the summer of 2008 by FFG (see “Sculpts for Conan Board Game Revealed”), but which is now set for a February, 2009 debut here in North America; and Battles of Napoleon, which FFG is also going to release (see “Battles of Napoleon”), but which is not currently on the FFG schedule, which only goes through Q1 of 2009.
