Digital Manga Publishing Inc. has announced a special promotional giveaway celebrating the launch of its DokiDoki imprint. Volumes of the first two releases under the DokiDoki imprint, Train Train Vol.1 and Princess Princess Plus Vol.1 are due out in late April and early May respectively. Each volume will contain a code that customers can enter at the DokiDoki Website, and after filling out a survey, DMP will send them a special promotional item tied to the volume that they have purchased. Customers will receive fukuseigenga, full-size (B5) prints based on original art created for the two volumes.
The promotional items are available on a “first come, first served” basis and, though the items are free, consumers will have to pay a shipping and handling fee.
DMP’s DokiDoki imprint (see “Digital Manga Launching DokiDoki”), which it is co-publishing with the Japanese publisher Shinsokan, is essentially a “gateway from shojo to yaoi” with stories that vary from shojo to shonen ai to yaoi with age ratings that range from 13+ to 18+.
