The Witchblade TV series, which provided the TNT network with a major ratings boost last summer, is back in production and on track for a full 13-episode season starting on June 16.  Witchblade, which is based on a comic book published by Top Cow under the Image banner, had been on a brief hiatus, which occurred when the series' sultry, husky-voiced star, Yancy Butler, checked into rehab (see 'Witchblade Series On Hiatus').  Reports from the set indicate that Butler was back in action and filming again on June 10.

The second season of the Witchblade series kicks off this Sunday night with a two-hour episode set for 8 p.m. (Eastern & Pacific).
