Marvel will launch Strange Tales Max, a three-shot miniseries featuring takes on the Marvel Universe by over a dozen of the hottest names in comics lit, in September.  Among the stories will be Peter Bagge on “The Incorrigible Hulk” (a story that was comissioned and completed several years ago), Jason’s take on Spider-Man, and an Iron Man story by Tony Millionaire. 

Other creators involved in the miniseries include Paul Pope, Mollyl Crabapple & John Leavitt, Junko Mizuno, Dash Shaw, James Kochalka, Johnny Ryan, Michael Kupperman, Nick Bertozzi, and Nicholas Gurewich. 

The first issue of the $3.99 miniseries will feature a cover by Paul Pope and Jose Villurabia.
