Galaxy Quest writers David Howard and Robert Gordon are writing a feature film based on DC Comics’ Bizarro Superman property.  The 1999 Galaxy Quest film was a well-received satire of a Star Trek-like TV science fiction series and its obsessive fans.  Few parody films have been so well-observed, which makes Howard and Gordon well-suited for a Bizarro Superman project.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Bizarro Superman project, which is based on Bizarro, a character created by writer Otto Binder and artist George Papp in 1958, is currently “ in the pipeline” with no release date set yet.
