
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, currently at around $820 million in worldwide box office, is going to be top of mind again on and around October 20th, when the DVD and BD releases street. In addition to what
Chevrolet will run a sweepstakes supported by a huge online campaign; Papa John’s is doing a multi-million dollar TV campaign, running heavy promotions in its stores, and producing over two million Transformers pizza boxes; Land O’Frost will feature a DVD rebate in one million lunch meat packages; and Perdue will feature a DVD rebate in 2.5 million Perdue chicken packages, promoted via a FSI and in-store POP.
Bonus content on the two-disc versions will include a multi-chapter documentary, a featurette that follows director Michael Bay through an entire day, a look at the “confidential files” on 12 of theTransfomers in the film; multi-angle breakdowns of key action sequences, and more.
The single disc version is $19.99 MSRP, the two disc version $24.99, and the two disc Blu-ray version is $29.99.
