Reed Exhibitions has announced that the 2010 New York Comic Con, the second largest pop culture event in the U.S., and the 2010 New York Anime Festival will both take place at the Jacob Javits Center from October 8th to October 10th of 2010. The two shows will maintain distinct guest and programming space, but they will share a common show floor, and fans will be able to attend both shows for the price of admission to one. A ticket to the 2010 NYCC will provide admission to NYAF events and vice versa. The jointly held 2010 New York Comic Con and New York Anime Festival will occupy virtually the entire Javits Center.
The 2009 New York Comic Con, which took place from February 6-8, was the second largest public event held this year in New York City (see “NYCC #2 Event in NYC”). The 2009 New York Anime Festival, which features Gundam Guru Yoshiyuki Tomino, will be held in the Javits Center later this month (September 25th to the 27th).
