Vanguard Publishing will release Loverboy, a new graphic novel by Dondi co-creator Irwin Hasen, in December.  The new book, to be released as both a 128-page 8.5” x 11” trade paperback ($19.95) and hardcover ($29.95), begins as the story of the romantic escapades of a man-about-town and segues into an autobiography of Hasen. 

In addition to his role as the artist of Dondi, Hasen has had a long and illustrious career in comics, including work for DC, All American, Sheldon Mayer and M.C. Gaines; and mentoring Alex Toth.
