Funimation announced that it has acquired home video, broadcast, and theatrical rights to two recent live action features from Japan.  Kamui Gaiden, directed by Yoichi Sai (Chi to Hone), is based on the 1965 manga series by Sanpei Shirato and stars Kenichi Matsuyama (Detroit Metal City, Death Note).

RoboGeisha is directed by Noboru Iguchi (Machine Girl).

Both films were released in Japan last fall.
