
Viz Media has announced its Q2 launches for manga and fiction, and there are a number of titles that we haven’t previously reported.
April
Stepping on Roses, by Tail of the Moon creator Rinko Ueda, will be released on April 6th under the Shojo Beat imprint. Rated T+, the title tells the story of a young woman whose family has financial problems who gets a proposal from a wealthy suitor.
Rosario + Vampire Season II, by Akihisa Ikeda, also due for release on April 6th, is the sequel to Rosario + Vampire, which ranked #4 in our most recent Top Shonen Properties chart (see “Top 10 Shonen Properties”). It’s rated T+, and will appear under the Shonen Jump Advanced imprint.

Flower in a Storm, by Shigeyoshi Takagi, will street on May 4th under the Shojo Beat imprint. The richest, most powerful 17-year-old in
Saturn Apartments, by Hisae Iwaoka, will appear on May 18th under the Viz Signature imprint. It’s set in a future in which humankind has evacuated the earth to live in a gigantic structure that forms a ring around the earth. It’s rated T.
Two fiction releases under the Haikasoru imprint are planned for May 18th. Loups-Garous, by Natsuhiko Kyogoku, is set in a future when almost all communication is by online networks that are monitored by the state. The Next Continent, by Issui Oqawa is set on the moon, where an executive’s daughter and a construction engineer are working to build a base fit for civilian use.

Afterschool Charisma, by Kumiko Suekane, is a T+ title from Viz Signature, due for release June 15th. It tells the story of a student at an exclusive school where all of the other students are clones of famous historical figures.
