The Twilight Saga: New Moon DVD sold 4 million copies during its first weekend on sale, besting the 3.8 million units sold over its initial weekend by the first Twilight DVD release that went on to become the bestselling DVD of 2009. Both Twilight Saga DVDs eschewed the normal Tuesday DVD release in favor of a 12:01 am Saturday debut.
Twilight: The Graphic Novel Vol.1 was released on Tuesday, March 16th. It remains the bestselling graphic novel on Amazon. Bookstore sales will take a little longer to tabulate, but don’t be surprised if the Twilight GN has a prominent place in the March list of the top ten graphic novels compiled by Nielsen’s BookScan, which should be available on ICv2 by mid-April.
