Marvel has released the cover image for Amazing Spider-Man #656, which will be released in March, and which depicts Spidey in a brand-new suit of armor.  What sort of new villain has writer Dan Slott come up with that everybody’s favorite Webslinger has to resort to this sort of protective gear?

 

While some fans may not cotton to Spidey’s new predominantly black armor, because it stirs up all those memories of Black Spider/Symbiote/Venom, it certainly is a lot better than the chunky, clunky, quasi-medieval armor from Web of Spiderman #100.
