Viz Media has announced a March-only promotion that will allow consumers using the Free Viz Manga APP for the Apple iPad to purchase the first volumes of 16 different manga series for 99 cents each versus the normal price of $4.99.

 

The Viz Manga APP now features a new software update (Version 3.0), which provides greater functionality including bookmarks, improved storage, and the ability to browse-by-series in the “My Manga” library.

 

Viz Media is in the process of making portions of 16 of its most popular manga series available for iPad including Naruto, Bleach, Death Note, Vampire Knight, One Piece, D. Gray Man, Ouran High School Host Club, Bakuman, Claymore, Dragon Ball, Merupuri, Rurouni Kenshin, Otomen, Toriko, and Natsume’s Book of Friends.
