More details on two 2012 superhero films are leaking out, including the identity of key characters. The villain in The Amazing Spider-Man (see “It’s ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’”) will be the Lizard (Dr. Curt Connors), according to an interview with C. Thomas Howell in a Retro Radio podcast. Rhys Ifans is expected to play the role 9see “Rhys Ifans to Play Spidey Villain”). 

 

And on the other side of the street, Joseph Gordon-Levitt (see “Joseph Gordon-Levitt in Talks for ‘Dark Knight Rises’”) will play Alberto Falcone (aka the Holiday Killer), son of Carmine Falcone, in Dark Knight Rises, according to Variety.
