Warner Bros. will release Superman: The Motion Picture Anthology (1978-2006) on eight Blu-ray discs on June 7th.  The boxed set will include high def versions of all four of the original films in the Superman franchise plus Superman Returns.  Alternate versions of two of the films, Superman: The Movie—Expanded Edition, and Superman II—The Richard Donner Cut, will also be included.  All of the films will be released with English DTS-HD-MA soundtracks. 

 

Twenty hours of bonus features include the never-before-seen original opening to Superman Returns, two documentaries (Look, Up in the Sky! The Amazing Story of Superman and The Science of Superman), You Will Believe: The Cinematic Saga of Superman, deleted scenes, and much more. 

 

Each package will include Movie Cash good for up to $8 off one admission ticket to this summer’s Green Lantern release. MSRP will be $129.95.
