Marvel has released the final fully-fleshed out version of Nick Bradshaw’s panorama of variant covers for the four X-titles featuring members of Wolverine’s Gold Team.  These are the mutants who took Wolvie’s side during the X-Men Schism event that sundered the mutant world.  The new addition to the Uncanny X-Force team seen on the cover of issue #19 is Fantomex, the Grant Morrison-created character loosely based on the classic movie villain Fantomas who came to comics by way of Italy and Mexico.

The newly revealed character on the cover of Bradshaw’s variant for Wolverine and the X-Men #1 is a bit harder to pin down, but this flying female spewing fire in every direction appears to be Oya (Idie Okonkwo), the missing member of the five lights (she’s the “Third Light”) from Generation Hope (see “Cyclops’ Blue Team Roster Intact”).

Rachel Summers, the daughter of the alternate future counterparts of Cyclops (Scott Summers) and Jean Grey-Summers finds herself allied with Rogue and with Wolverine against Cyclops as the final character revealed on the cover of X-Men Legacy #259.

The cover to X-Factor #230 reveals three new characters, the statuesque Polaris, Madrox, and Longshot.  With all the current members of X-Factor represented (along with some new additions) exactly who is going to meet their demise in November in X-Factor #227?
