More news has come out about the AKA Jessica Jones TV series, based on Brian Michael Bendis’ Alias comic series, in development at ABC (see “ABC Planning ‘AKA Jessica Jones’ Pilot”). Writer/producer Melissa Rosenberg (Dexter, The O.C.) told Hitfix that Luke Cage (Power Man) and Carol Danvers (Ms. Marvel) would have principal roles in the series. She also said that the series would be able to reference some other Marvel characters from the “cinematic” Marvel universe, depending on which ones were tied up in movie deals with non-Disney studios. “I’m going to pull everything in from there that I can use,” she said.
