Over 1100 comic stores have signed up to participate in Marvel’s Avengers vs. X-Men Launch Party program, according to the company.  The program (see “’Avengers vs. X-Men’ Launch Parties”) asked retailers to choose either the X-Men or Avengers team and were then provided with launch kits containing variant comics and other promo material tied to their team. 

Launch parties will be held at 8 p.m. April 3rd, just before the comic goes on sale.
