Over the weekend the Disney XD Channel released a mash-up promo for its new Ultimate Spider-Man animated series that not only featured the high-flying Marvel cartoon hero, but also the airborne stars of the NBA throwing down a barrage of monster dunks.

The new Ultimate Spider-Man animated series, which benefits from contributions from the Man of Action Studios as well as from Brian Michael Bendis, Paul Dini and others, debuted on Disney XD on April 1st as the anchor for a new weekend Marvel animation block (see “New Ultimate Spider-Man Trailer”).
